Developed in collaboration with First Defense USA, the PL350 Over Travel Stop (PL350 OTS) eliminates the possibility for accidental light reactivation when returning your PL350 switch to the “off” position at speed and under pressure, while also increasing efficiency during single handed manipulations.
One-screw installation does not require any mechanical or “open housing” modifications to your light, allowing you to retain your full warranty with Modlite, and maintaining existing holster/firearm compatibility. Available in left and right hand models. Simple. Effective. Purpose-built.
Warranty Notice:
The full warranty for your Modlite still remains intact with the installation of a PL350 OTS. However, any damage resulting from improper installation of the PL350 OTS – such as stripped threads or a rounded-out screw head – may require repairs that fall outside the standard warranty coverage. Though extremely unlikely, this could include costs up to $75 or more if a full light body replacement is necessary, for example.
To help avoid any issues, we highly recommend watching the installation video here before and/or during install. If you’re unsure or would prefer not to install it yourself, we also offer an installation service which is 28.95 and includes fully insured shipping of your light body to us.
The process is very straightforward for the vast majority of users, but I value transparency and want to be upfront about any edge cases, no matter how rare, that could lead to unexpected expenses.

My biggest issue with the Modlite has been the overtravel on the switch, which made me consider going back to the less superior light issued by work. This has fixed my only complaint about the light, and has proven to be one of the most functional pieces of kit I have ever invested in. Something so small, with a great benefit to my daily needs.

The PL350 OTS is a game changer. When I first purchased my Modlite PL 350 I knew it would be hard for me to ever go back to any other weapon light, my only issue was with the switch reactivation. The OTS completely changed that. Super easy installation and makes the PL350 one of the best weapon lights you can use.
