The original SCG provides a unique and well balanced blend of features, and the outcome? Well, it not only has propelled to being our best selling ergonomic enhancement for the AR platform, but it also has become the most re-ordered part that we offer, speaking volumes to it’s practical benefits. Of course, it isn’t all perfect though – after all, if grips were one size fits all, the VCG/VCG-L and ULCG Gen 2 wouldn’t exist! At Driven, our mission is to serve the needs of end users, and we have both sought out and been given many amazing opportunities to receive constructive feedback, with our number one request overwhelmingly being “please give it a big beavertail!”… Here is your answer, and you’re going to love it!

• 16 degree grip angle for balanced ergonomics, leverage during manipulations, and long term operating comfort
• ~1.445 inch maximum width with a tapered profile and flared lower ledge for improved hand placement, support, leverage, and control in all positions (final dimensions to be announced after production model is finalized)
• Two texture variations for varying applications
  • Apex texture – minimally abrasive, Apex was designed for those who like hockey tape wraps or similarly smooth but still tactile finishes
