The SCG-L (Longtail Shadow Crossover Grip) takes our standard SCG up a notch – the extended beavertail improves trigger finger placement for longer fingers, and ensures a stable, comfortable interface at the palm swell across a range of hand sizes.

Originally developed in response to a defense client’s request for a larger tail version of the SCG, we have taken our learnings from months of field testing with them, and elevated the original SCG-L concept with an enhanced beavertail geometry, similar to that of our ULCG FS, to be available on a regular production schedule moving forward. 

Designed to control hand position, the extended beavertail improves trigger finger placement for longer fingers, and ensures a stable, comfortable interface at the palm swell across a range of hand sizes.

    My new favorite grip. I looked at B5 and the Kung Fu grip. I tried BCM, Magpul K2+ and K2L, and a variety of Ergo grips. I have semi-large hands (on the upper side of L gloves), and the angle, swell, and overall ergonomics of the SCG-L is perfect. I chose the Atom texture for balanced grip and comfort. Upon replacing my Ergo with the SCG-L and handling my SBR, I bought three more immediately. DAC seems to be a top-notch company. I bought on a Saturday and received a notification it’s being shipped within an hour of purchase. Can’t beat the product or service.

    The only other option I’d try is their Utility grip if it came in an XL or larger swell version. Otherwise, the SCG-L is it for everything.
